Artist group Ariel Efraim Ashbel and friends takes the musical classic “Fiddler on the Roof” (Anatevka) as reference, traveling through the traditions of 20th century Jewish performing arts in Fiddler! A Musical, exploring them in the context of exile, expulsion, and state violence.

Cologne-based band Henry Lee released their first studio album at the end of 2022. TV in the corner compiles ten songs that evoke a dreamy figure singing them. While Henry Lee refrain from conjuring up the ghosts of the past, they do summon those of the present – and despite romantic transfiguration, they find words and sounds for the mundane aspects of everyday life that concern us all.
