Etel Adnan would have been 100 years old on 24 February 2025. We would like to invite you to a celebration of this wonderful artist. We listen to Etel Adnan’s texts together, reading from them, let her be present in short films, talking about her and her works. We invite you all: Bring your favourite Etel Adnan text! There will also be Lebanese street food and music.

Alongside the celebrations for Etel Adnan’s 100th birthday, the fourth edition of our How did that go again? series is scheduled within which we remember special moments from 25 FFT Years. Etel Adnan was bound to the FFT in friendship, especially by the stage adaptation of her novel “Sitt Marie-Rose” which depicts the fate of a Lebanese Christian woman who is caught in the civil war frontlines.

Der Wanderfalke is the story of a transformation: Author John Alec Baker describes the lives of two pairs of peregrines in the south of England. As he approaches the animals, he himself slowly turns into an observing predator resembling the peregrine, who learns to read nature. fringe ensemble transfers the book onto the stage as a musical theatre evening.
